Born and schooled in Dallas, Texas, I have always been surrounded by the arts. I painted during my time at Booker T Washington and pursued painting at the University of North Texas. I am now painting full time in Denton. I am inspired by my community and friends and because of this, portraiture continues to be a large part of my portfolio. I think that human interaction and the beauty of emotion are the most precious things. This is why I paint them most often.
